This position has high level of responsibility and accuracy due to governmental billing, which is subsequent to their activities (their functions create the claim detail that is submitted to the Medicare Part B program).
Position gathers and reviews patient billing and medical information to determine if patients diagnoses qualify and products required are covered under Medicare Part B benefits, while ensuring that we are compliant with the Federal Health Care program. This position is responsible for determining product needs by patient, placing Part B qualified and non-qualified orders, resolving customer issues and tracking customer enteral product inventories.
